About Andelwood Homes

Andelwood Homes is a Durham Region custom home builder run by the van Andel family, with Bas as founder and Shawn as owner and operations manager. It designs and builds custom homes through a design-build process that runs from zoning review and drafting to interior design and full construction, working with clients step by step on the design. Every finished home gets a blower door test so the air tightness can be checked against current standards. The service area covers Bowmanville, Newcastle, Clarington, Port Hope, Cobourg, Peterborough, Port Perry, Courtice, Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, Pickering and Brooklin. Online estimates are offered. A portfolio and a page on the process show how a build proceeds, and clients praise the team in repeat custom builds. Rated 5.0 from 3 Google reviews, all five stars.
