Fitzmaurice Brothers Carpentry

Fitzmaurice Brothers Carpentry traces its Muskoka building roots to the 1940s, when the family began building cottages on Lake Muskoka's north shore. Today it offers custom cottage and boathouse design, drafting and construction documents, timber, stick and metal framing, renovations, docks, boathouses, Muskoka rooms and bunkies. It uses barges, boats and excavators for island and remote sites, and handles excavation, septic design, landscaping and ICF foundations and walls from licensed installers. The team carries a project from permits through completion, with a large crew on hand, and is a Tarion-registered builder. A design team led by architectural designer Grant Cleveland produces the plans, and the company also lists barging, landscaping, maintenance and commercial work.
