Cobourg Construction

Cobourg Construction is a family-owned design-build general contractor that has served Cobourg, Port Hope, Peterborough and Northumberland County since 1999, with a second generation now running it. It builds ground-up custom homes on the client's lot, with design, permits and construction under one roof, including demolition and rebuilds on waterfront lots and estate homes over 3,500 square feet, with conservation authority approval and shoreline setbacks handled. It also does second storeys, room additions, garage conversions, ADUs, heritage renovations and kitchen and bathroom renovations. Design, permits and construction sit with a single team, so clients deal with one contractor from first drawings to the finished build. It states it is licensed, insured and WSIB covered and cites more than 1,000 projects. Rated 4.8 from 40 Google reviews, 37 of them five stars.
